We're looking for a Creative Producer to drive the continued development of Over The Moon, an innovative performance project exploring awe, despair, and perspective through a neurodivergent lens. This work combines live performance, multi-layered projections, and NASA archives to create a piece that extends beyond traditional theatre contexts.
Project background:
- Co-created by Performer & Performance Maker Peyvand Sadeghian, and Visual Artist & Filmmaker Matthew C. Robinson
- Currently in its initial R&D phase, supported by CRIPtic Arts' Launchpad programme with embedded accessibility considerations.
- 20-minute performance to be showcased as part of The Acts at the Barbican Centre in November 2024
- Additional support from Arts Council England and Bow Arts
We've secured resources for this first phase of R&D, and now need someone to confidently take the project forward in:
- Crafting & implementing a strategy to secure the project's next steps
- Creating a working budget and timeline
- Identifying and pursuing funding opportunities
- Cultivating partnerships with venues and organisations
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a proven track record in funding interdisciplinary arts projects - Is genuinely enthusiastic about experimental performance and neurodivergent-led work
- Communicates effectively and builds strong professional relationships
- Can adapt to and support a developing creative process
Budget and timeframe:
- £3,000 available for this role
- Work to be carried out between now and early 2025
- Potential for continued collaboration
If you're excited about nurturing innovative performance and can bring both creative insight and practical skills to help realise our vision, we'd love to
hear from you.
